Facilitates formative and summative simulation sessions at the undergraduate level. Provides feedback on pre-simulation assignments to prepare the learner for an active and engaging educational experience. Fosters clinical judgement by posing reflective questions during debriefing. Provides a safe learning environment to ensure an optimal learning experience.
Courses: All undergraduate clinical courses (Health Assessment, Medical-Surgical, Pediatric, Obstetrical, Community, Psychiatric Mental Health, and Leadership Nursing).
The candidate will teach in the Department of Biobehavioral Health Sciences or Department of Family and Community Health in the School of Nursing.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution and a current PA RN license required. To note: BSN-prepared nurses, currently enrolled in an MSN program are eligible but MSN must be completed within 5 years.
