Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Martin Health is seeking a Simulation Education Specialist in Port Saint Lucie, FL to design and implement simulation curricula with evidence-based instructional design. You will work on AHA resuscitation, mock codes, and RQI, collaborating across disciplines to optimize learner engagement and outcomes.

The role offers advancement across Florida sites and Ohio, professional development, and opportunities to contribute to accreditation preparation and faculty development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with significant experience in healthcare simulation education.
• Six years of experience in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and/or customizing simulation education.
• OR a Master’s Degree in education or a healthcare field with four years of experience.
• Knowledge of educational theory, instructional technology and simulation services and technologies.
• Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS Instructor Status through AHA within two years of hire if in Resuscitation SIM Department.
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator through the Society for Simulation in Healthcare within two years of hire.
• Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement evidence-based simulation curricula with instructional design and fidelity.
• Mentor new simulation faculty, fellows, facilitators and trainees in curriculum development and feedback.
• Review evaluative data to adjust simulation activities and ensure accreditation alignment.
• Contribute to research, publications and presentations in simulation education at multiple levels.
• Advance simulation concepts by translating knowledge from other fields into practice.
• Collaborate across disciplines to design interprofessional simulation courses.
• Maintain accreditation requirements and promote evidence-based innovation.
• Participate in strategic planning to sustain and grow programs across sites.
• Manage multiple projects, CME credentialing, and urgent learning needs.
