Cleveland Clinic Martin Health in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking an AHA Program Instructor to coordinate American Heart Association courses and support the Resuscitation Simulation Department. The role ensures courses run to standards and guidelines with patient-first care in mind.

This PRN position requires 3 shifts per month between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with the ability to float to other Cleveland Clinic locations within the Florida region. ACLS/PALS and BLS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent licensure education.
• Current state licensure as a RN, RRT, EMTP or MD.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification required by AHA or Red Cross.
• Four years of BLS/ACLS/PALS provider experience.

Responsibilities

• Reserve and organize classrooms and equipment for scheduled classes.
• Ensure instructors, equipment, classroom instruction and student ratios meet standards.
• Apply adult learning techniques and adapt training materials.
• Prepare and adapt lesson plans using AHA curriculum and competency-based education.
• Instruct interactively and engage learners to elicit responses.
• Select and use audiovisual hardware and software to reinforce learning.
• Evaluate and document trainee learning using program formats.
