Job summary

Geisinger Education & Medical Simulation (GEMS) Center seeks an Education Specialist to support planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of simulation-based educational programs. You will partner with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to create engaging, high-quality learning experiences that enhance clinical skills, patient safety, and healthcare quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 3 years related work experience required.
Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
Experience with simulation-based education or healthcare training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Tracks, facilitates, collaborates and coordinates learners in education across the health system.
Participates in onboarding of learners.
Assists with curriculum development for learners and faculty.
Oversees educational activities, program implementation and evaluation.
Coordinates with Educational departments on educational activities when needed.
Assists with development and maintenance of evaluation systems for faculty, learners, and programs.
Serves as administrative liaison with educational leaders to ensure learning activities and environment.
