Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Simulation Coordinator GME to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of simulation activities across multiple GME programs onsite. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in simulation-based mastery learning, with preference for CHSOS/CHSE certification.

You will oversee operations, mentor faculty, ensure accreditation readiness, manage data collection and budgets, and collaborate with GME

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in simulation-based mastery learning.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as simulation operations specialist or tech.
• CHSOS or CHSE certification preferred (may obtain within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee simulation operations, evaluation and review processes.
• Mentor facilitators and staff on simulation pedagogy across programs.
• Collaborate with GME leadership and hospital administration to drive simulation activities.
• Prepare documentation for ACGME accreditation standards and milestones.
• Develop and manage budgets and reports for the simulation centers.
