The University at Buffalo seeks a Simulations Operations Manager for the Behling Simulation Center and Margaret L. Wendt Clinical Competency Center. You will run and support simulation sessions and ensure simulators and AV systems operate smoothly.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, training faculty, managing equipment maintenance, and coordinating with vendors and the Office of Medical Computing. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of healthcare simulation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (EMT/paramedic accepted toward degree).
Two years of healthcare simulation operations or comparable technical operations, including leading or training others.
Working knowledge of patient simulators and simulation software.
Familiarity with networked computers, AV systems, and equipment maintenance.

Responsabilités

Run and support simulation sessions for medical students, residents, and faculty.
Maintain simulators, audiovisual systems, and computers with vendors and IT.
Supervise and train the centers' Simulation Technician and student assistants.
Train faculty, residents, and students to run their own simulation sessions.
Manage equipment maintenance, service contracts, and purchase requests.
Write procedures and keep records for accreditation and billing.
