Job summary

Seton Hall University’s Interprofessional Health Sciences Campus seeks a Simulation Operation Specialist to ensure smooth simulation experiences from setup to wrap‑up. You will program, test, run, and video capture scenarios; maintain manikin software and hardware; and serve as a technology resource for students, faculty and guests.

You will prepare spaces and equipment for realism, train staff in operational aspects, manage inventory, and help protect patient privacy under HIPAA and FERPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health profession, education, simulation or related area with 5+ years health setting
• CPR certification and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Operate simulation experiences end‑to‑end (program, test, run, video capture) 40% of time
• Prepare spaces and equipment for realism 25% of time
• Maintain and upgrade software/hardware, troubleshoot as needed 10% of time
• Train staff and faculty in operational aspects 10% of time
• Maintain records and ensure data security per HIPAA/FERPA 5% of time
• Support research/GRANT activities; potential evening/weekend work 10% of time
