Job summary

City and County of Denver seeks a part-time Simulated Participant to portray patients and family members for nursing education. The position is temporary, in-person with variable schedules, and not benefits-eligible; enrollment in PERA is required. High school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are needed.

You will interact with learners in experiential education to provide an opportunity for students to learn and be evaluated.Simulated Participants provide valuable opportunities for learners to practice skills in a safe environment that is both safe and supportive of the learning process. You must take the role seriously as you are impacting patient care through education.To become an SP, candidates are required to be comfortable dealing with care teams, have a good memory, excellent listening skills, concentration during simulation scenarios, and accept constructive feedback.
