Job summary

On-site, part-time role. You will accurately reproduce patient histories and symptoms, provide feedback, and document learner performance while collaborating with the SP program team.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to memorize and to improvise as needed.
• Experience in acting, healthcare and teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Simulate a patient case and assess health providers at multiple levels.
• Respond to email messages promptly and demonstrate professional behavior.
• Simulate all aspects of the patient scenario including history, affect, and physical findings.
• Teach and assess clinical skills of medical students and other learners.
• Accurately document skills of learners using a computer.
• Provide written and face-to-face feedback to learners.
• Monitor other Standardized Patients for quality assurance.
• Incorporate feedback from supervisor into case simulations.
