Duke University School of Medicine seeks Simulated Patients (SPs) to portray patients for clinical training and assessment. You will recreate patient histories, symptoms, emotional responses, and communication styles in a safe, respectful environment. SPs are interviewed and examined by learners, and simulations are recorded for teaching purposes.

Work arrangement is On-Site/Part-time. Anticipated pay range is USD $20.00 to USD $26.62 per hour.

Formación

• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to memorize and improvise as needed.
• Experience in acting, healthcare or teaching is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Simulate a patient case and assess health providers in multiple levels.
• Respond to emails promptly and maintain professional behavior.
• Document learners' skills using a computer and provide feedback.
• Teach and assess clinical skills of learners and monitor quality.
• Accept feedback and incorporate it into case simulation.
