Job summary

DO & CO AG in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Silverware Packer to polish and assemble cutlery, napkins, and linens for flights, ensuring utensils are packed per airline specs. The role supports the airline catering process within a Luxury Global Gourmet Entertainment company.

You will work long hours on foot, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, as part of a dynamic hospitality team delivering superior service on major events and flights.

Responsibilities

• Polish and assemble cutlery, napkins, and linens for a flight.
• Packs the utensils according to airline specifications.
• Complies with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook and reports problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
• Assists in inventory and perform other tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Able to manage through a substantial workload
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
