Job summary

Exalta Group is seeking a Molding Press Operator for the 1st shift in Kenosha, WI. You will set up, operate, and tend to silicone rubber injection molding presses to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and work orders, maintaining equipment, inspecting parts, and ensuring documentation in the ERP system. Prior ISO/FDA experience is a plus; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of silicone injection molding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficient in calipers, micrometers, pin gauges and drop indicators.
• Experience in ISO/FDA environment preferred.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control.
• Excellent manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to be highly accurate with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to repeat the same physical and mental activities over and over.
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, handle stressful situations, multitask and prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively, professionally and constructively.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and tend to silicone rubber injection molding presses and mold rubber products to meet customer specifications.
• Read specifications, blueprints and work orders to determine setups, temperatures and time settings.
• Observe automatic machines to ensure proper functionality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Measure and visually inspect molded components for surface and dimension defects.
• Prepare molds and components prior to molding.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain maintenance logs.
• Adjust valves and dials to regulate pressure, temperature, speed and feed rates.
• Remove parts and dies from machines after production runs.
• Maintain documentation in ERP system for all production data.
