Job summary

EXALTA in Kenosha, WI, is seeking a hands-on Injection Molding Operator to setup, operate and tend silicone rubber molding presses to meet precise customer specifications. You will read blueprints and work orders, adjust temperatures and cycle times, inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, perform routine maintenance, and document production data in our ERP system.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience reading blueprints.
Experience with silicone molding preferred.
ISO/FDA environment knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Setup, operate and tend silicone injection molding machines to mold parts and meet customer requirements.
Read specifications, blueprints, and work orders to determine setups, temperatures, and time settings required to mold rubber materials, and plan production sequences.
Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure proper functionality and that molded components meet specifications.
Measure and visually inspect molded components using calipers and micrometers to ensure tolerances.
Perform basic maintenance on molds, rails, pins, and presses; maintain maintenance logs.
Document production data in ERP system and ensure paperwork is complete.
