Job summary

EXALTA is seeking a skilled silicone injection molding operator in Kenosha, WI to run presses, read blueprints and ensure parts meet specifications. You will inspect parts with precision tools, prepare molds, and maintain documentation in the ERP system.

A focus on quality, safety and teamwork is required. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of silicone molding experience, ability to interpret work orders, and strong attention to detail in a temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and work instructions to determine setups and tolerances.
• Experience with silicone injection molding preferred (1-3 years).
• ISO/FDA environment experience is a plus and attention to detail is critical.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control practices.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and measurements with precision.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and tend silicone injection molding presses to mold parts.
• Read specifications and work orders to determine temperatures and cycle times.
• Monitor machines for proper function and adjust as needed for quality.
• Inspect components with calipers/micrometers for defects and conformance.
• Prepare molds and tooling; perform basic maintenance on molds and presses.
• Document production data in ERP and maintain accurate records.
• Meet established setup and production efficiency standards.
• Collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.
