Job summary

Intel Corporation in Austin, TX seeks a Silicon Product Engineer to drive the quality, reliability, and manufacturability of cutting-edge silicon products from design through high‑volume manufacturing, directly impacting yield, performance, and market success.

You will develop test methodologies, perform failure analysis, define qualification plans, and collaborate with design, verification, and manufacturing teams to optimize products, monitor post‑silicon quality, and support technology

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree.
  • Experience with test methodologies, failure analysis, and qualification plans.
  • Experience evaluating analog, RF, and digital ICs and coordinating with design and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies, methodologies, and qualification plans to ensure product testability and manufacturability.
  • Perform detailed failure analysis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions for yield improvement.
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, verification, and manufacturing teams to optimize product performance and resolve technical issues.
  • Define and maintain quality and reliability standards, specifications, and release criteria throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and validate test methods, equipment, and automated testing solutions for production environments.
  • Monitor post-silicon quality results and incorporate learnings into future designs and processes.
  • Support technology transfer activities and manufacturing ramp-up through data-driven analysis.
