Job summary

Intel is hiring a Silicon Product Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturability of silicon products. You will drive test strategy, failure analysis, and qualification across the product lifecycle from design to high-volume manufacturing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges.

You will develop advanced test methodologies and qualification strategies, evaluate analog, RF, and digital ICs, and contribute to yield improvement and industry-standard

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering or related STEM field with experience in test and qualification.
  • Experience in analog, RF, and digital ICs and failure analysis.
  • Ability to work on-site in Folsom, CA and collaborate across design, verification, and manufacturing.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, methodologies, and qualification plans.
  • Conduct detailed failure analysis on systems and components to identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, verification, and manufacturing teams to optimize performance.
  • Define and maintain quality and reliability standards, specifications, and release criteria.
  • Design, develop, and validate complex test methods and automated solutions for production.
  • Monitor post-silicon quality results and incorporate learnings into future designs.

Job Description: Join Intel as a Silicon Product Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and manufacturability of Intel's cutting-edge silicon products and technologies. In this critical position, you will drive innovation across the entire product lifecycle from initial design through high-volume manufacturing, directly impacting Intel's ability to deliver world-class semiconductor solutions to market. Your expertise will influence product performance, yield optimization, and quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges. By developing advanced test methodologies, conducting failure analysis, and implementing robust qualification strategies, you will contribute to Intel's mission of creating industry-leading technologies that power innovation across diverse applications and maintain the company's position at the forefront of semiconductor excellence.

Key Responsibilities May Include But Not Limited To
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, methodologies, and qualification plans to ensure product testability and manufacturability
  • Conduct detailed failure analysis on systems and components to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions for yield improvement
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, verification, and manufacturing teams to optimize product performance and resolve technical issues
  • Define and maintain quality and reliability standards, specifications, and release criteria throughout the product lifecycle
  • Design, develop, and validate complex test methods, equipment, and automated testing solutions for production environments
  • Perform circuit characterization, correlation analysis, and statistical evaluation to ensure compliance with internal and industry specifications
  • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Evaluate and debug analog, RF, and digital integrated circuits to ensure optimal performance under various operating conditions
  • Develop and maintain control plans, FMEA documentation, and risk assessment strategies for new technologies and products
  • Support technology transfer activities and manufacturing ramp-up through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration
  • Monitor post-silicon quality results and incorporate learnings into future product designs and manufacturing processes

Annual Salary Range for jobs to be performed in Folsom, CA: $154,519 - $200,340 USD

This position requires work at the Intel site at least 4 days per week in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation; or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM-related degree and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
