Job summary

Intel in California seeks a Silicon Validation Engineer to define and execute validation strategies for next‑gen silicon products. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science or STEM‑related field with required experience.
  • Hands‑on experience in silicon validation or related validation fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute comprehensive functional validation plans and strategies for silicon products and integrated systems.
  • Perform silicon debug to identify root causes of failures and resolve functional and triage issues across design components.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and manufacturing teams to optimize validation processes and troubleshoot challenges.
  • Develop and implement post‑silicon validation infrastructure, including performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and test environments.
  • Apply advanced hardware and software tools to ensure thorough validation coverage and meet performance goals.
  • Test and validate interactions between system features and components using validation infrastructure and methodologies.
  • Publish detailed validation reports and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain validation methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Conduct system‑level testing across operating conditions to ensure product specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities May Include But Not Limited To

Annual Salary Range for jobs to be performed in Folsom, CA: $179,567 - $200,340 USD

This position requires work at the Intel site at least 4 days per week in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM‑related degree and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation; or Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, &/or Computer Engineering, or Science, or other STEM‑related degree and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
