Qualifications

• MS/PhD or BS with 5+ years in silicon photonics.
• 5+ years in silicon photonics process and device development.
• Strong analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills.
• Expert-level understanding of silicon photonic and optoelectronic devices.
• Proficiency with optical simulation and TCAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process technologies within a VLSI manufacturing, foundry environment.
• Design, characterize, and optimize silicon photonic devices.
• Coordinate experiments toward technology development and yield enhancement.
• Collaborate with process engineering, test, and customer teams to define goals and solutions.
• Design test structures and define tests for device characterization (ICCAP, LabView).
• Support transfer of processes to production and worldwide fabrication facilities.
