The Trustees of Reservations in Beverly, MA is seeking a Seasonal Event Assistant to support Halloween on the Hill at Long Hill. You will assist with visitor services, retail, concessions, and safety during the event, which runs October 1–30, with varying weekday/weekend schedules.
Ideal candidates have excellent customer service, can stay calm under pressure, and show up on time for each shift. This on-site, non-exempt role offers seasonal hours from September through November and opportunities

Reporting to both the Property Director and Senior Regional EngagementManager, theSignatureEventAssistant, supports Long Hill’sevent, Halloween on the Hillin a variety of areas.The Event Assistanttasks may include providing retail support, welcoming people to the property, checking visitors in, selling concessions, parking, andmonitoringvisitorsafety.The event runs October1– October 30, Wednesday through Sundaysexcept forthefirst and second weeks of October, whenthe event isThursday through Sundaythen transitions to Wednesday – Sunday.During the last week of October,the eventrunsTuesday, October 27–Friday, October 30.The ideal candidate has excellent customerservicesskills,remainscalm under pressure, and arrives for each shift ina timelyfashion.If interested, thereis an opportunity to help with event setup in September and breakdown in Novemberforadditionalhours.
Over the pastfiveyears, Halloween on the Hill has become an extremely popular family friendly event bringing significant awareness and visitation to Long Hil.Nearly 2,000carved pumpkins are displayedcreativelythroughout thetrail,and the large-scale sets are an audience draw. A similar event takes place at Naumkeag in Stockbridge. This event brought in over 25,000peopletoLong Hill in 2026.
