Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II – Signal Processing to join the Processing, Guidance and Controls Center. You will design, prototype, integrate and test signal processing algorithms for RF/EO/IR sensor data in missile systems.

This onsite role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, C/C++ programming, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance. Relocation options and a strong benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Experience with C or OOP languages (C++, C#, Java)
• Experience with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing, or optimization
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of signal processing algorithms and models.
• Test and validate sensor models and signal processing algorithm performance in accordance with requirements.
• Integrate algorithms into hardware and collaborate across disciplines from program start-up to live-fire testing
