Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer I – Signal Processing (Pro) to join the Processing, Guidance and Controls Center in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on design, development, and validation of RF/EO/IR signal processing algorithms used across missile systems.

You will work in an onsite environment, collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to integrate algorithms into hardware and support from program start-up through live-fire testing, while obtaining required security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM.
• Experience with C, C++, Java, or C# in an applied setting.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, prototype, integrate, test, and assess RF/EO/IR signal processing algorithms and models.
• Use simulations to evaluate signal processing algorithms and performance.
• Test and validate sensor models in engineering labs and live-fire contexts.
• Integrate algorithms into hardware across development phases from start-up to testing.
