Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Signal Processing to design, develop, prototype, integrate, test, and assess RF/EO/IR signal processing algorithms and models used across programs.

You will work in a collaborative environment, using simulations, lab testing, and hardware/software integration across development phases, with opportunities to brief peers and integrate algorithms into hardware for live-fire testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C, C++, C#, or Java; strong algorithms.
• Experience with signal processing concepts and applications.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance before start.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and optimize signal processing algorithms for RF/EO/IR systems.
• Develop and modify simulations for algorithm validation and hardware integration.
• Collaborate in lab environments and participate in design reviews.
• Support integration across development phases from start-up to live-fire testing.
