Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Signal Integrity Lab Technician in Santa Clara, CA. You will work in the Signal Integrity Lab to verify electrical specs of passive DUTs and assist with frequency and time-domain measurements, using oscilloscopes and VNA tools.

You will document results in Excel and create graphs and PowerPoint reports, collaborating with Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering while maintaining precise measurements and lab safety.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years postsecondary study in EE, ME, Physics or Math.
• Strong geometric, numerical, and statistical aptitude.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, PCB layouts, schematics, and block diagrams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong accuracy and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Signal Integrity Lab to ensure electrical specs of DUTs are met.
• Assist with frequency (S-Parameter) and time-domain (TDR, BERT) measurements.
• Record, store and process data in Excel; create graphs/reports with PowerPoint.
• Interact with Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
• Maintain lab safety and operate with precision around sensitive equipment.
