Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Signal Integrity Engineer in Vancouver, WA. Join an established team responsible for high-speed connectors and interconnects, providing design, simulation, and customer support on new product introductions.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, perform frequency and time-domain characterization, and help resolve SI issues for PCB layouts and cables in telecom and data center applications.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Physics required.
• Hands-on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization.
• Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors.
• Understanding of electro-magnetic principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with their high-speed data transmission requirements.
• Identify and resolve signal integrity issues in PCB layout, and directing layout for customers.
• Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high-speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnect.
• Support to the internal Sales Engineers to develop strategies for product break-in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertise.
• Application of Circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission, PCB layout principles for high-speed digital design.
• Collaborating on a multi-disciplinary team in the development of next generation Wilder high speed products.
