Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Signal Integrity Lab Technician to join the team in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on validating device measurements in the Signal Integrity Laboratory to ensure products meet electrical specifications.

You will assist with frequency (S-Parameter) and time-domain measurements, use oscilloscopes and VNA, and record results in Excel for graphs and PowerPoint reports. Collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum postsecondary education requirement of 1 to 2 years in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Strong geometric, numerical, and statistical aptitude.
• Must be self-motivated and able to read/me interpret mechanical drawings, PCB layouts and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist measurements of devices under test to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform frequency (S-Parameter) and time-domain measurements (TDR, BERT).
• Assist with electrical measurements using Oscilloscope, Vector Network Analyzer, and Digital Microscope.
• Record, store, and process data in Excel to create graphs and reports in PowerPoint.
• Interact with Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
