Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to be onsite in Harrisburg, PA, joining our innovative team in the high-speed connectivity sector. You will help develop and optimize interconnect solutions for AI infrastructure, data centers, and networking equipment, guiding projects from concept through production.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in signal integrity and hands-on use of VNAs, TDRs, and pattern generators.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's or PhD preferred.
5+ years of experience in signal integrity or related electrical engineering disciplines.
Hands-on experience with test equipment: VNAs, TDRs, pattern generators, error-detection tools.
Proficiency with simulation/analysis software: HFSS, CST, ADS, HSPICE, MATLAB or similar.
Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, PCB design principles, and time- vs frequency-domain characterization.

Responsibilities

Support development and deployment of high-speed interconnect solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
Perform signal integrity modeling, simulation, validation, and troubleshooting for connectors and cables.
Develop testing methodologies and verification processes for new product introductions and manufacturing support.
Design and evaluate PCBs and test fixtures for electrical characterization and validation.
Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering to address complex high-speed transmission challenges.
