Piper Companies seeks a Signal Integrity Engineer to join a leading connectivity and high-speed hardware organization, onsite in Nashua, NH. The role focuses on design, analysis, and validation of high-speed interconnects used in data centers, networking, and telecom environments.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SI experience, strong testing and simulation skills, and a background in high-speed digital systems. Travel up to 10% for customer and product support is possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on signal integrity experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design principles.
• Experience with SI testing tools and channel characterization.
• Familiarity with SerDes and PCB design concepts.
• Experience with sim tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, HSPICE, or MATLAB.
• Experience in networking, datacenter, or telecom environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform signal integrity analysis and testing for high-speed connectors, backplanes, cables, and interconnect products.
• Conduct lab measurements using TDRs, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and BERTs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot signal quality issues in high-speed channels.
• Support channel characterization, validation, and optimization efforts.
• Provide PCB routing and layout recommendations to improve signal performance.
• Develop and evaluate simulation models using SI tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Support customer-facing technical discussions and application engineering activities.
• Travel up to 10% as needed for customer and product support.
