Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join a leading organization in the connectivity and high-speed hardware industry onsite in Nashua, NH. The role supports design, analysis, and validation of high-speed interconnect solutions for data centers, networking, and telecom environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SI experience, strong testing and simulation skills, and a background in high-speed digital systems. Bachelor's in EE required; masters/PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of signal integrity engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design and transmission lines.
• Hands-on with TDR, VNA, oscilloscopes, and BERTs.
• Experience with connectors, backplanes, or cable assemblies.
• Familiar with SerDes, channel characterization, and PCB design.
• Experience with HFSS, CST, ADS, HSPICE, or MATLAB.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Networking/datacenter/telecom interconnect experience is a plus.
• Bachelors in EE or related field; advanced degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform signal integrity analysis and testing for interconnects.
• Conduct lab measurements using TDRs, VNAs, O-scopes, and BERTs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot signal quality in high-speed channels.
• Support channel characterization and optimization efforts.
• Provide PCB routing and layout recommendations.
• Develop and evaluate simulation models using SI tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer teams on technical challenges.
• Engage in customer-facing discussions and applications engineering.
• Travel up to 10% for customer and product support.
