Job summary

The New York City Department of Transportation is seeking an Administrative Staff Analyst to join the Division of Traffic Operations. The Program Delivery Manager role oversees the traffic signal capital program, coordinating design handoffs, multiple contracts, and contractors to move projects from design to street-ready infrastructure.

You will build trackers and dashboards to provide leadership with a current view of delivery, and advise on process improvements to speed up implementation.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's with four years of professional experience in budget/financial administration, management analysis, or similar areas.
  • Experience supervising staff performing professional work in administrative roles.
  • Ability to build program trackers, dashboards, and reporting systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of traffic signal projects from design to completion.
  • Monitor delivery pacing across the portfolio and flag delays or misalignments.
  • Track work across multiple contracts, identify conflicts and interdependencies, resolve them to keep delivery moving.
  • Build and maintain program-level trackers, dashboards, and reporting rhythms for leadership visibility.
  • Study project delivery flow and recommend processes and resources to accelerate street infrastructure delivery.
