Job summary

Gensler in Atlanta is seeking a Signage Designer to translate a client’s brand into physical environments through graphics, signage, wayfinding, and placemaking. You will focus on strategy, design, documentation, and implementation oversight of signage systems within architectural contexts.

This mid-to-senior, hands-on role requires leading design efforts, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with architects, interior designers, fabricators, and clients to deliver projects across healthcare,

Qualifications

• Experience in signage or environmental graphics design.
• Leadership or mentoring experience in design teams.
• Strong collaboration with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative signage and wayfinding strategies that solve complex navigation challenges and create intuitive user experiences
• Conduct research and user journey analysis to understand organizational, cultural, and physical environments, translating insights into effective communication systems
• Design cohesive sign families, hierarchies, messaging frameworks, and environmental graphics that integrate typography, color, symbology, materials, and architectural context
