FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock is hiring a full-time Sign Production Specialist in the Denver area. You will follow layouts to apply vinyl, prepare substrates, weed vinyl, and operate printers to deliver high-quality signs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in sign production, a HS diploma, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds. This role supports the franchise with on-time, accurate production and finishing.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sign production experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to apply vinyl to substrates.
• Prepare substrates (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning).
• Weed excess vinyl and manage weeding as needed.
• Operate and maintain printers.
• Quality checks against Work Orders for accuracy.
• Finish pieces via laminating or mounting.
• Report stock levels to production/center manager.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Ability to use light power equipment

Compensation: $18.00 - $26.75 per hour
