Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Correction Enterprise Supervisor II (CES II) for the Correction Enterprise Sign Plant in Bunn, NC. This role supervises two staff and about 30 offenders engaged in producing highway signs, ensuring production aligns with NC DOT and Federal Highway Administration standards.

You will schedule work, generate reports, manage material inventory, and maintain safety and custody of inmates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years of related experience.
• Eligible for BCOT training and completion of six weeks.
• Must be at least 20 years old and a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise two staff and about 30 offenders.
• Communicate with NC DOT regarding layout drawings with defects.
• Schedule work production and prepare reports for financial statements.
• Prepare reports concerning raw material inventory.
• Conduct surveillance to ensure custody and security of inmates.
• Assist plant management in other work assignments as needed.
