Job summary

State of North Carolina - Adult Correction seeks a Correction Enterprise Supervisor II (S) for Mt. View Sewing Plant in Spruce Pine, NC. You will supervise 65 to 85 offenders and oversee safety, quality, production and inventory within a production‑based operation located at the Mt.

View Correctional Facility. The role requires experience with sewing equipment, production environments, and supervisory responsibilities, with eligibility for NC CJ Standards Commission certification.

Qualifications

• High school or GED diploma and a minimum of two years of related industry/service experience.
• Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
• Experience with hands-on sewing equipment & tools (e.g., machines, press, snips).

Responsibilities

• Supervise 65 to 85 offenders and oversee safety, quality, production and inventory.
• Coordinate with facility staff and offenders to maintain production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures within Mt. View Sewing Plant.
