Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, AZ seeks a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) to join our Therapy Services Team.

This role focuses on evaluating and treating adults and geriatric patients, developing plans of care, and providing patient education and therapy to improve communication and swallowing disorders. PRN benefits are included and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Arizona License for Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS and AED certification through the American Heart Association.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (or eligible).
• Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Speech and Language Pathology evaluation or screening.
• Select and administer diagnostic procedures to determine impairment and prognosis.
• Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary.
• Document course of patient care including progress and continuing need for treatment.
• Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals.
• Adhere to attendance policies and professional image.
• Meet regulatory requirements from KHI, ASBSP, and Medicare.
• Participate in continuing education and staff development.
• Assist with SLP students and Clinical Fellow program.
