CAN Community Health Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) I for full-time day shift in Miami Beach, FL. The role includes front desk support, phlebotomy, and medical intake under physician direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA) required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical intake procedures including vital signs and history.
• Records and reports on symptoms, reactions, treatments and changes in patient’s conditions.
• Performs immunizations as directed by the physician.
• Practice safe phlebotomy using standard precautions.
• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and manage follow-up for missing documentation.
