CAN Community Health, Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) I to support care for patients impacted by HIV, Hepatitis C, and other infectious diseases. This full-time, day-shift role combines front-d desk duties with phlebotomy and clinical tasks in a non-profit setting.

Eligible applicants receive a sign-on bonus through 11/30/2026, competitive pay, PTO, holidays, and training support. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) is required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform medical intake procedures including vital signs and history.
• Conduct complete patient evaluations and assess conditions.
• Record and report symptoms, treatments and changes in patient status.
• Perform immunizations as directed by the physician.
• Phlebotomy tasks including venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and schedule appointments.
