Purple Communications, Inc. in Goshen, Indiana seeks a professional American Sign Language interpreter to provide high quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for customers.

You will interpret between ASL and spoken English and adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager. The role requires fluent ASL and English, accurate interpreting, and the ability to travel to various customer locations

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English are required.
• Accurate interpretation with knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Conduct.
• State licensure or state credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality video relay service and on-site interpreting for customers.
• Interpret between ASL and English with professionalism and accuracy.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies while maintaining customer service.
• Travel to various customer locations as needed.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
