Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Interpreter I in Shenandoah, Texas. This role involves providing professional Sign Language interpretation for Deaf or Hard of Hearing students and staff across various settings at Lone Star College.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience or equivalent education.
  • Active BEI Basic certification required.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Sign Language translation for students and staff.
  • Analyze source language content for accurate interpretation.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and activities.
