Lone Star College seeks an Interpreter II to provide advanced Sign Language interpretation for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, faculty, staff and visitors across Lone Star College locations. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, with an active BEI Advanced or higher certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Active BEI Advanced or higher certification required.
• Fluency in Sign Language and English; ability to interpret accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide Sign Language translation for Deaf/Hard of Hearing clients, students, faculty, staff and visitors.
• Analyze source language content to accurately convey meaning and intent.
• Mentor level-one interpreters and maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Attend ASR department meetings and support OGAC duties as needed.
