Job summary

Sorenson Communications is expanding our interpreter team in Orlando, FL. We interpret between ASL and spoken English, providing sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign services on a flexible, center-based schedule.

The role supports both full-time and part-time positions, with opportunities for premium shifts, CEUs, licensure reimbursement, and a strong benefits package. A high school diploma or GED is required; degrees and certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Interpreting between ASL and spoken English.
• Must pass required skills assessment.
• Stability with regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and English accurately.
• Maintain licensure/certification compliance.
• Follow Sorenson policies, FCC regulations, and RID code of conduct.
• Adhere to attendance policy and company standards.
• Complete tasks and paperwork promptly.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet VRS demands.
• Learn and implement new technologies quickly.
