Qualifications

• Associate degree in Sign Language Interpreting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting and support services to deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff.
• Tutoring and participation in meetings as part of the educational team.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethics and district policies.
• Support classroom teachers with sign language instruction when not interpreting.
