Job summary

Stay Alert Safety Services, an AWP Safety Company, is seeking a Material Installer to transport and install signage, review specs, and ensure materials meet project requirements. The role emphasizes precision, knowledge of various material types, and safe installation techniques at outdoor sites.

You will load signs, prepare sites, install signs to MUTCD codes, and coordinate with project teams. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and willingness to work evenings/weekends are

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-year industrial-related degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to connect with field-level customers.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Adhere to safe workplace practices.
• Knowledge of various signs (vinyl, channel letters, electrical, road signs).
• Understanding of installation methods, materials, and safety measures.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• 40+ hour workweek.
• Field-based with outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure signs meet client specifications for spelling, font, size, and medium.
• Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to location safely.
• Install signs to MUTCD code.
• Prepare site for installation and secure electrical connections.
• Ensure proper measurement, placement, connection, and installation of material.
• Mount and install signs following safety protocols.
• Clear debris and materials after installation.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to material as needed.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Communicate with Project Management daily and document completion photos.
