Job Summary:

The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide routine technical and manual assistance to the Road Operations Department as assigned. The position is responsible for assisting with the fabrication and installation of County street signs, and the installation of street striping. The position works under direct supervision according to set procedures.

This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires High School Diploma or GED.

Requires a valid Florida driver's license.

Requires Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic certification within six (6) months of date of hire, Forklift Certification within six (6) months of date of hire and IMSA Signs and Marking – Level 1 certification within eighteen (18) months of date of hire.
