Job summary

National Security Agency seeks Linguists (MDLAs) to support SIGINT with language analysis, translation, transcription, and reporting across offices. LADP offers up to three years of hands-on experience with rotations through missions and training.

Applicants should have ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in the target language, plus relevant language-related work or related fields. Entry, development, full performance, and senior levels are described with progressive experience requirements.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening for target language
• At least one year of relevant language work or related field experience
• Eligibility for security clearance and ability to work with IC partners
• Entries cover multiple levels: Entry/Developmental, Full Performance, Senior

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders language analysis, transcription, translation
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts
• Develop solutions for analytic problems from diverse data
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights
• Collaborate with NSA and IC analysts in research and reporting
