Job summary

National Security Agency seeks Linguists (MDLAs) to analyze foreign language materials, transcribe, and translate key information for SIGINT missions. The role supports either the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct-hire positions depending on skill and program needs.

Qualifications include ILR 2/2 in reading/listening and at least one year in language work or related fields. Entry, Developmental, Full Performance, and Senior levels are offered with varied experience

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or analysis is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with the relevant experience ranges per level (Entry to Senior).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key foreign language information for SIGINT purposes.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to provide actionable insights.
• Synthesize information from diverse sources and meet reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with analysts and customers across the IC to support analytic missions.
