Job summary

Jovian Concepts, LLC seeks a SIGDEV Analyst Level 2 in the Annapolis Junction, MD area to support a 24x7 mission essential watch center. You will maintain customer computers and networks, ensuring systems collect, process and transmit information vital to decision makers and troop safety.

Expect a 12-hour Panama-style schedule with 5:00 to 5:00 shifts. Required are 5+ years in SIGINT analytic support, FORNSAT experience, and Linux command-line proficiency; familiarity with SATCOM technologies

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of SIGINT development analytic support.
• Within last seven years, 3–5 years with modern digital/optical telecom systems and networks.
• Experience using Linux operating system including command-line.
• FORNSAT experience required.
• Front-end collection systems experience including survey systems.
• DNR/DNI collection and dataflow experience including FOP configuration.
• Basic troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to follow basic SOPs and documentation.

Clearance Requirement

A current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland (MD) polygraph is required for consideration. CCA candidates will not be considered for this position at this time.

Job Overview

Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations. In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, ensuring front end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe. You will provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer access. The technology focus will be aligned with data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advanced technologies over IP. To be considered for this position, candidates must understand the significance of their role within a 24/7 mission essential TTO and be able to support varying schedules at times to ensure mission coverage. Applicants must be flexible with their schedule and be available to support 24x7 mission operation with a weekly schedule, working a panama style shift: three days on, two days off, followed by two days on and three days off, with 12-hour shifts from 5:00 to 5:00.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in and demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT development analytic support
• Within the last seven (7) years, at least three (5) of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications
• Demonstrated experience using Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line
• FORNSAT experience is required
• Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems
• DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration
• Basic troubleshooting experience
• Ability to follow basic SOPs and documentation accordingly
• Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies
• Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450) Desired Skills
