Job summary

ASML US is seeking a PLC Engineer to design and integrate PLC-based control systems for EUV lithography platforms. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver reliable automation that meets performance, quality, and schedule targets.

The role involves hands-on development, validation, and collaboration with suppliers while contributing to system roadmaps. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of PLC automation experience using

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
At least 5 years designing PLC-based automation and control systems.
Experience with Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal, PLCSIM, HMI, and related Siemens tools.

Responsibilities

Design software and firmware for Siemens PLC systems that meet system requirements, cost targets, and project schedules.
Define system specifications and translate requirements into robust control solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of reliable products.
Select and evaluate hardware architectures and components for complex, high-precision systems.
Apply best practices in PLC design, architecture, and industrial automation methodologies.
Develop and maintain PLC test benches and simulation environments to validate software before deployment.
Support system integration, troubleshooting, validation, and qualification activities.
