Poclain Hydraulics in Sturtevant, WI, is seeking a skilled CNC Machining Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up and operate CNC centers, change tooling, adjust offsets, and troubleshoot to maintain part quality with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have experience with Siemens-controlled CNC equipment (Fanuc valuable), read blueprints, inspect parts with precision tools, and support continuous improvement while upholding safety and 5S standards.

Qualificações

• Experience operating CNC machining centers with Siemens or Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Able to independently set up tooling and adjust offsets.
• Able to troubleshoot machining issues and maintain part quality.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including turning, grinding, and heat-treating equipment.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and first-piece validations to ensure production readiness.
• Independently change tooling, replace inserts and cutting tools, and adjust wear offsets to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor machining performance and apply tooling and offset corrections as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and engineering specifications.
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and document results per process requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues and escalate as needed.
• Support continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
