Job summary

The City of McAllen, TX is seeking a laborer to support a variety of municipal construction and maintenance projects.

This role focuses on concrete work, site preparation, grading, forms, utility spotting, fencing, drainage, earthwork, welding, and related tasks; candidates must be able to perform manual labor and work safely.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to perform manual labor involved with the development of a wide variety of projects. This includes, but is not limited to, concrete work, preparing work sites, setting grades and forms, coordinating utility spotting, building maintenance, minor electrical repairs, installation of signs and fencing, installation of drainage, completion of earthwork operations and welding
