Job summary

WW Clyde in the Denver area is seeking a dependable Side Dump Driver with a Class A CDL to haul dirt, rock, and demolition materials for our heavy civil construction projects. This full-time role requires safe operation of heavy trucks up to 97,000 lbs and meticulous pre- and post-trip inspections.

We offer competitive pay of $27-$32/hour, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and 401(k) matching. You will support crews on site and maintain strong communication with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year tractor/trailer experience.
• Must be comfortable pulling up to 97,000 lbs combined vehicle weight.
• Automatic transmission restriction accepted.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, bend, and drive in varying weather.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Must be 21 years old or older per FMCSA and company insurance.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety.
• Transport dirt, aggregates, and demolition in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Access and maneuver through off-road quarry sites; obtain and provide signed delivery tickets.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and site personnel.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch to prevent delays and minimize disruptions to job sites.
• Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
• Use and navigate company mobile applications.
• Report incidents involving driver, equipment, or property damage.

• Must be 21 years old or olderin compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Including occasional Saturday work.
